We’re hugely pleased to confirm that – yes – Courage will be at HOPE later this month. The conference will be held at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City on 20-22 July.
Courage will have a panel at the event, on the ramifications of Lauri Love’s extradition victory from earlier this year and how we can use it to aid campaigns for US prison reform. Our panel will include two Courage beneficiaries – Barrett Brown and Lauri himself, speaking via videolink – alongside Courage team member Nathan Fuller and Grace North from the Jeremy Hammond Support Network. We’re scheduled for Sunday at 1pm.
Barrett Brown will also be giving an on-stage interview with the Daily Beast’s Spencer Ackerman on Saturday at 11am.
And Chelsea Manning will be interviewed by technologist Yan Zhu at 2pm on Saturday.
